I’m always pleased to be invited to visit a book discussion group. The benefits, of course, are that the people in the group will read my book (sometimes even buy, but I’m happy with library circulation too), that I’ll be able to hear their comments on it (the negative or questioning ones sometimes even more enlightening than the compliments), and that I can do a bit of promotion for my other books. And almost always there is food and drink. Good company and hospitality, an offer I rarely decline.
But how do book clubs find us? Pearl Luke has had a stroke of genius in the creation of Book Club Buddy: Book Club Buddy a website that links readers with authors and their books. And is bubbling over with ideas on promotion! Blowing Bubbles with Pearl Luke
